6-Man Tag Team Match Natsu Sumire & Rina Yamashita & Kaho Kobayashi Takumi Iroha (Marvelous) & Saki Akai (DDT) & AZM (Queen’s Quest)
In the main event of Natsu Sumire Produce 10th Anniversary, we have a 6 woman tag team match. The teams are as follows, Natsu Sumire, Rina Yamashita and Kaho Kobayashi going against the team of Takumi Iroha (Marvelous), Saki Akai (DDT) and AZM (Queen’s Quest).
Ten years ago, February 13, 2013, Natsu Sumire would pass her audition to be an official member of Pro Wrestling Wave, then on October 30, 2013, Natsu Sumire would make her in ring debut in Wave she went up against Kana who is known to most fans nowadays as Asuka from WWE. Natsu Sumire would leave Wave on August 31, 2017, she would go on to join Stardom on November 4, 2017, joining the heel faction Oedo Tai, then on November 12, 2017, Sumire would make her in-ring debut for Stardom. Natsu Sumire is a former champion holder in Stardom, she would win the Artist of Stardom Championship with Oedo Tai’s Kagetsu and Andras Miyagi (MICHIKO from GLEAT). Natsu announced that she would be stepping away for a bit to go on hiatus due to her shoulder dislocation. She would step away in October 2020. About a year and a half later in February 2022 she would announce that she would be making her pro wrestling return later that year. She would make her come back to wrestling on May 20, 2022.
Rina Yamashita and Natsu Sumire have prior history dating back to their days in Pro Wrestling WAVE. Rina refers to herself as the Deathmatch Amazon. Rina has three singles wins over Sumire in their four singles matches while Natsu holds just one. Sumire’s first five pro wrestling matches had her team with Rina twice but with no wins. Rina Yamashita is the current GCW Ultraviolent Championship. Kaho Kobayashi is a freelancer. She has held many championships for various promotions such as CMLL, JWP Joshi Puroresu, OZ Academy, Pro Wrestling WAVE and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. The history between Sumire and Kaho is almost similar with Rina they both worked in Pro Wrestling WAVE around the same time and have had six singles matches against each other. Kaho has five wins over Natsu in their six singles matches where Natsu only has the one victory. The common theme with this trios is all three made their pro wrestling debuts in 2013, so all three celebrate 10 years together.
The team they will be going up against is Marvelous’ Takumi Iroha and DDT’s Saki Akai and Stardom’s AZM of Queen’s Quest. Takumi Iroha has two belts currently, she held the AAAW Tag Team Championship with Chikayo Nagashima, they won the titles on September 16, 2022, and the West Coast Pro Women’s Championship which she won off of Masha Slamovich on August 10, 2023. Takumi does do some freelance stuff while still being a part of Marvelous, she has won various titles in other promotion’s over her career. Iroha is also celebrating 10 years in her pro wrestling career. DDT’s Saki Akai is also celebrating her 10th Anniversary in wrestling, Akai is retiring in November and her last match will be on November 12, 2023. Currently, Saki Akai has three belts, she has BBW Women’s Championship, KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships and AJPW TV Six-Man Tag Championships with Yukio Sakaguchi and Hideki Okatani. AZM is representing Stardom/Queen’s Quest, just recently AZM celebrated her birthday and her 10th Anniversary in wrestling.
As you can see all six participants are celebrating 10 years in the pro wrestling business all having made their debuts in 2013. This should be a fun match with the difference in styles each opponent brings.
Single Match VENY vs X
In a singles match, it’s VENY going against a mystery opponent.
This original singles match was going to be VENY going against Utami Hayashishita, but due to Utami being injured the match had to be changed, VENY does not know who her opponent is going to be. VENY is the current Regina Di WAVE Champion after winning it off Hikaru Shida who held the championship for 413 days, this is her second reign with the title, if VENY’s mystery opponent beats her that person can get a title match down the line. Hopefully there is a fitting substitute for Utami that, and we can get a match that has never happened.
Tag Team Match Sakura Hirota (WAVE) & Itsuki Aoki vs Hazuki & Koguma (STARS/FWC)
In this tag team, we have Stardom’s team of FWC Hazuki & Koguma going against the team of Sakura Hirota from WAVE and Itsuki Aoki
Representing Stardom in this tag match will be the team of FWC Hazuki & Koguma, they have being teaming with each for three years now. Hazuki & Koguma are a part of one of the best factions in Stardom STARS, FWC has won the Goddesses Of Stardom Championship, both Hazuki & Koguma have won the High Speed title. FWC will fight the team of Sakura Hirota from WAVE and Itsuki Aoki, Sakura Hirota has been wrestling for years now she started her career on August 12, 1996. Sakura Hirota has wrestled in many different promotions over the year’s and has held many belts, she has won the WWWD Queen Elizabeth Championship, WWWD Tag Team Championship, Regina Di WAVE Championship, Wave Tag Team Championship, and Oz Academy Tag Team Championship. Sakura Hirota is teaming with Itsuki Aoki, Itsuki Aoki is a freelancer she has fought in many different promotions. Itsuki Aoki started her career on April 16th, 2017, Aoki has held many different titles over the year’s, Aoki is currently the WAVE Tag Team Champion and Oz Academy Pioneer Champion. Itsuki has also held Marvelous AAAW Tag Team and Oz Academy Tag Team Championship.
Original Y-shirt Match Time Staggered Battle Royal “We’re back! The rules of the match are as follows, all participants must wear Y-shirts in the battle royal, if both feet touch the floor they will be punished with a water gun known as “Bicho Bicho Machine Guns”, if you take off your Y-shirt you are disqualified. The participants in this battle royal are Stardom’s own Mina Shirakawa and Waka Tsukiyama from Club Venus, Saya Iida from STARS and Mai Sakurai from Donna del Mondo. The rest of the battle royal will be rounded out by Ram Kaicho from 666, SAKI from COLOR’S, Chanyota from P.P.P. TOKYO, Chi Chi and ZONES from Evolution/EVO.
In this Battle Royale, you got Stardom’s Club Venus Mina Shirakawa and Waka Tsukiyama, Mina is a former Artist Of Stardom Championship, Future Of Stardom Championship, Wonder Of Stardom Championship, Goddesses Of Stardom Championship. On social media Mina did say she is interested in ZONES, and that “ZONES has a passionate heart” and that she is looking forward to meeting her in the ring. This is not Mina Shirakawa’s first time in the Y-shirt battle royal of similar rules as there was a similar match that happened in Stardom back in 2022 at a showcase show which was the Cosmic Rules II match, that match featured all of Cosmic Angels at the time. The other participants for Stardom are STARS Saya Iida and Donna del Mondo Mai Sakurai. STARS Saya Iida is the current NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champion with Hanan, she also held the Future Of Stardom Championship, Donna del Mondo Mai Sakurai is the current Artist Of Stardom Championship with Giulia and Thekla.
Also in the Battle Royale, we got Triplesix’s Chairman Ram Kaicho, Ram has wrestled in many different companies in her career, she wrestled in DDT Pro-Wrestling where she won the Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship, Ram would also wrestle in Ice Ribbon and capture the Triangle Ribbon Championship, Ram is also the inaugural current Spark Joshi Pacific Champion for Spark Joshi Puroresu of America.
The other participant in the Battle Royale is COLOR’S SAKI, COLOR’S is a subunit in Cosmic Angels in Stardom. COLOR’S joined Cosmic Angels on June 5, 2022. SAKI has won many different titles in her career and has wrestled in many different promotions, she has won the AWG Single Championship, Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling Asia Dream Tag Team Championship, Ice Ribbon International Ribbon Tag Team Championship, Pro Wrestling WAVE’s Tag Team Championship, Pure-J Daily Sports Women’s Tag Team Championship and is the inaugural Spark Joshi Atlantic Champion for Spark Joshi Puroresu of America. We also got Evolution’s Chi Chi and ZONES who both made their debut this year on March 31st, 2023, and P.P.P. TOKYO’s Chanyota who made her debut on September 14, 2021, Chanyota has wrestled for Stardom several times before being featured in battle royals and a New Blood tag matches teaming up with Donna Del Mondo’s Mai Sakurai.
