Havoc all around! What is going on in the world of Sukeban? Who is safe? What is happening? How will this all end! What can we do to stop this!
Hi! I’m BCube, and I’m going to be breaking down the blockbuster stories and events of Sukeban in the recent weeks. Thanks to Okamoto Reiji and his trusty news reporting, we’ve been able to gather the happenings of the recent few weeks. It seems a crime wave has spread, and the people to blame are those we see on our screens. The Vandals. The Harajuku Stars. The Dangerous Liaisons. The Cherry Bomb Girls. They’re all here, and they’re all fighting. But, there is also one more addition to this lineup, one new member of the Cherry Bomb Girls that we will see in action on December 6th. Sareee, the woman on fire in the Joshi independent scene has made her way to Sukeban, and decided to join the stable of the Cherry Bomb Girls! What an addition she will be.
So, what’s been going on you ask me? Allow me to catch you up on all the breaking news before you watch the show LIVE on the CEO Gaming Channel on Twitch, or the Sukeban TikTok stream at 10pm ET. Let’s delve into the news and world of Sukeban since our last meeting.
8th of November – 2023
The Sukeban Organization announces their next episode… December 6th, 2023, the show would be taking place in the Lot 11 Skate park in Downtown Miami, Florida, all in conjunction with the Art Basel Fair. They announced to us what would be accompanying the already announced main event of the show, Ichigo Sayaka versus Commander Nakajima for the Sukeban World Championship. It was on this day that they announced the match-ups which are on the card for the event. Here is what they revealed to us:
And with this announcement of the card, violence suddenly broke loose all over Japan. We have seen street-fights around Tokyo, street-fights in Shibuya, a violent assault in a Dojo, multiple bar-fights and even some rooftop brawls. There can be no other way but to settle this except in a wrestling match, and so it will be settled right then and there in that skate park in Miami.
Let’s break down these assaults, when they happened, and how they will manifest themselves once we reach that mark of December 6th!
6th of November – 2023
Two days before the official announcement of the event in Miami, we witnessed a brawl reported on by Reiji Okamoto. Who was reporting live from the streets of Tokyo in Shinjuku, where a fight had broken out between the Queen of Hearts, Saki Bimi, Bingo, and Supersonic. We saw Bingo attempt murder on the Queen of Hearts, trying to choke her with a chain, and some brutal attacks by Queen Takase on Saki Bimi, whilst Supersonic was driven into the floor by her attackers.
This brawl on the rooftops of Shinjuku has obviously been the driving factor for two of the matches we will see in Miami. Firstly, the tag team match between Queen Takase and her partner Konami, who will face off against Saki Bimi and Maya Mamushi, and the trios grudge match between the Vandals and the Cherry Bomb Girls. However, this was not all the violence we would see in the months of November and December, not at all. This was just the beginning…
8th of November – 2023
Following the announcement of the card, the Vandals took it to heart with the news she would be facing off against the Cherry Bomb Girls, and decided to invade the dojo where Crush Yuu was honing her skills. During her meditation, she was violently assaulted by Atomic Banshee, who would be the cause and victim of much more violence to come. She attempted to choke out Crush Yuu, all the while we saw Stray Cat roam the premises, watching what would happen with a keen eye. Atomic Banshee would get her way, and Crush Yuu was subdued in her own place of rest, and her master would stand and watch it all happening. We did not see Stray Cat involve herself, instead opting to play with a ball as they watched on.
This will most definitely be expanded upon soon, but for now, Crush Yuu will have to get through Lady Antoinette, the fearsome member of the Dangerous Liaisons. All of this will also affect Atomic Banshee however, as her faction will have to defeat the angry faction of Crush Yuu in their trios grudge match, who will be able to topple the other? Atomic Banshee herself will not be participating in that however, instead facing off in the 4-way match between Sareee, Countess Saori and Babyface. The debuting Sareee will be a tough woman to fight, and Atomic Banshee will face the wrath of the others she has attacked over these months. We will cover those stories soon!
11th of November – 2023
Back on the streets of Tokyo, Midnight Player is looking for a fight, and she finds one when she tracks down the Harajuku Stars, minding their own business signing and dancing in the recording studio. Yet another assault by the Vandals as they wreak havoc on the other factions of Sukeban! Her interruption of the Stars session was not taken kindly, and another fight broke out in the studio! This would soon spill out onto the streets. The Stars would try to get away each time they knocked Midnight Player down, but she would not give up, even smashing a glass bottle against the head of Babyface, sending Maya Mamushi into a fit of tears, and anger.
Midnight Player won’t have to answer for her attack this time, as she has the Cherry Bomb Girls to face, but it has definitely added to the destruction happening in Sukeban. Babyface will get her chance for revenge against the partner of Midnight Player, Atomic Banshee, in the special four way! I wonder what will go down on December 6th? However, we still have more stories of violence, havoc, and unrest to cover!
20th of November – 2023
Commander Nakajima walks into a bar, but this is the start of no funny joke. She demands a drink, and takes one from a fellow customer, As she necks down the shot, she notices a familiar, unwelcome face in the legendary nightlife spot of Casba bar, in Shibuya. It’s Atomic Banshee. Banshee would initiate a fight with Nakajima, and they traded forearm strikes in the dimly lit, retro bar. This would not go well for Atomic Banshee, as back-up was outside. Slowly entering the bar, Countess Saori and Lady Antoinette make their way in, and all 3 of the Dangerous Liaisons put down the reckless Banshee, laying down punches and kicks. The bar goers are unfazed, and Banshee is left unconscious on the floor.
We will see this story develop when Banshee takes on Countess Saori, who took vicious delight in putting down Banshee. Nakajima remained angry, bitter, and resentful, her demanding attitude as when she arrived. Her title match against Ichigo Sayaka obviously has her stressed, perhaps even worried. Who will we see get the win over each-other, will Saori continue her beat down in the 4-way, or will Banshee get some revenge? More importantly though, who will we see hold the first gold in Sukeban?
22nd of November – 2023
Once again, our trusty reporter Reiji Okamoto has captured scenes on live news of more fighting, more brawls in Tokyo! When will this carnage end?! Back in Casba, the Cherry Bomb Girls and Vandals brawl inside, tensions rising from the attack on Crush Yuu, and the recent fight in the same venue! Otaku-chan and Bingo stand over the bodies of Supersonic and Riko Blondie, as they leave them in the same spot we saw Atomic Banshee just 2 days before! It seems this will never end, all the aggression and violence, and we can only hope it will all be settled on December 6th. This trios grudge match is looking to be more and more needed as the days go by, and this encounter sets that into stone for us.
That is all the attacks, all the news stories we have had by today, but earlier this week, we saw video packages released by each of the four groups here in Sukeban. Each group was proud of the attacks they had committed, the atrocities they caused, and each tried to flaunt their fashion, their look and their aura in these videos. Sharing clips of their brawls, videos of them in the streets or drinking in bars, we got a snapshot of the lives and looks of the Sukeban roster.
It’s really setting out to be the fight of a lifetime on December 6th, so don’t miss it! Hailing from Lot 11, the Skate park in Miami Florida, live on Twitch and TikTok at 10pm EST, it will be a show that all will want to see. Hopefully we can see the end to all this violence, all this turmoil which has been boiling in Sukeban, and hopefully the arrival of Sareee will shake the foundations of this world.
