Regardless, if you’ve been following her career since Ice Ribbon, or you’re a new fan via Stardom. The violent prodigy Suzu Suzuki already has an impressive career under her belt. Born September 16th, 2002, the 21-year-old Suzu is already a veteran of pro wrestling of 6 years. Making her debut at Ice Ribbon’s “New Ice Ribbon #930 ~ RibbonMania 2018” in a successful match against Asahi, she was bound for greatness from the start. As far as the internet goes, her beginning days with Ice Ribbon are patchy to find information on. It’s here in Ice Ribbon though where she met Risa Sera and formed a group called “Prominence” with other girls from the company. What made them so different from the rest, though? These girls performed death matches and hardcore matches. Suzu and Risa quickly became the popular members of the group and competed in regular deathmatches while still representing Ice Ribbon.

Another familiar face also started out in Ice Ribbon before coming to Stardom, Giulia, a fellow 5-Star GP winner. Debuting for the company in 2017, Suzu and Giulia came up and trained together in the company. After having a good rise in Ice Ribbon, Giulia abruptly announced she’d be leaving the company in October 2019. Giulia announced she had signed with Stardom, a company quickly rising in popularity overseas. Suzu would reveal later on she held a grudge over Giulia for abandoning Ice Ribbon before her contract expired. After Giulia’s departure, Suzu continued to fight for Ice Ribbon until she and her unit decided to depart from the company and go freelance in 2022.

Suzu and her band of deathmatch wrestlers fought for various companies such as Wave and DDT. In January 2022, Prominence made a sudden and surprise debut in Stardom when they ganged up and attacked Giulia and her stable, Donna Del Mondo. This started a long war of back-and-forth matches between Prominence and Donna Del Mondo members, specifically targeting Giulia. In May of that year, Suzu and Risa Sera announced they would be taking part in the 2022 5-Star GP. Suzu and Risa would both score 15 points respectfully in the tournament, but Giulia would go on to win the 5-Star and win the red belt not long after her victory.

It wasn’t the end of Prominence in Stardom though, on December 29th, 2022, the group beat Oedo Tai to become the Artist of Stardom champions, and they’d hold onto these belts until April 23rd, 2023. Suzu would also challenge Giulia unsuccessfully for her red belt on February 4th, 2023. Suddenly, Suzu shocked everyone when she announced she would be leaving Prominence and Death Match wrestling and joining Stardom full-time.

Suzu would then be seen tag-teaming with fellow Stardom wrestlers Mei Seira and Donna Del Mondo member Maika frequently. They won a good chunk of their matches together, and the internet even speculated that Maika would leave Giulia and join Suzu full-time. Now we get to the 2023 5-star GP, Suzu Suzuki enters the tournament and makes a good impression, so good in fact that she makes it to the finals against fellow tag partner Maika. Suzu would shock the world after beating Maika and winning the tournament, making history as the youngest winner ever.

So now the question persists, what does the future hold for Suzu in Stardom? With Tam Nakano being the current red belt champion, are we looking at the next red belt champion for Stardom? Only time will tell!
